Georgia Silverman is a born and raised New Yorker. She doesn’t remember when she started writing stories, but her seventh-grade math teacher commented on her diligent note-taking — she was actually working on her latest creation.

She was a Kenyon Young Writer in 2016 and part of NYU’s Writers’ in Paris Program in 2020 (sadly she wasn’t in Paris, but quarantined with her parents). She graduated from Hunter College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

When she isn’t writing or reading from her ever expanding to read pile, she can be found in one of New York City’s museums or rewatching the Great British Bake Off.
